Amazon stopped taking your receipts. Walmart didn't.
If you've done Target-to-Amazon, you know how that lane went. Receipts stopped counting for ungating, the commingling changes landed, and the sellers still standing are bigger than you.
Walmart Marketplace has no monthly fee, fewer sellers per listing, and a buy box that isn't a knife fight. What it doesn't have is anybody building a serious sourcing list for it. That's the whole reason this exists.
Every lead is the same physical product. Not a title that looked close.
The scanner reads Target's live catalog, then looks up each product's exact UPC against the current Walmart listing. If that UPC isn't there, you get no lead. There's no title-similarity fallback, which is the thing that pairs a $24.99 pair of headphones with a $12.88 kids' pair and calls it a 49% margin.
Then it prices the spread using Walmart's real referral fee for that product's category, not a flat guess.
The part nobody else checks
A profitable lead you can't legally list is worth less than nothing, because you've already spent the money at Target by the time you find out.
So every lead is checked two more ways before it reaches you:
The categories this list scans were rebuilt around lanes that come back clean. On the last rebuild, 34 of 42 leads carried no warning at all. The rest still ship, with the warning attached, because a gated lead is a fine lead if you're already approved in that category. You just have to know before you buy.
What never makes the list
Last run: 374 products checked, 47 cleared everything. A thin week stays thin. Nothing gets padded to hit a number.
What a row actually contains
- Target
- price and direct product link
- Walmart
- price and direct listing link
- Net profit
- in dollars, after the referral fee for that category
- Net margin
- as a percent
- Sold by
- the current storefront on the listing
- Fulfillment
- WFS, marketplace or store
- Reviews
- review count on the Walmart listing
- Demand
- Walmart's own badge when the listing shows one
- Listing risk
- blank when there's nothing to say
- Recall
- blank when there's nothing to say
It arrives as a CSV. Open it, sort it, buy what fits your account.
The free list is a real sample, and it's rigged against me
Every Wednesday morning you get two leads, free. They clear the same UPC match, the same review bar and the same screening as the paid list.
Here's the part worth knowing. When more than two clear, the free list keeps the two lowest-profit leads of the batch. On purpose. You are seeing the weakest thing that passed, every single week.
If the worst leads are worth your morning, the rest of the list is an easy call.
Who this is for
You already have an approved Walmart Marketplace seller account, or you're through the application and waiting. You'd rather buy six things you're confident in than sort ninety you aren't. You can act on a lead the morning it lands.
Not for you if you haven't applied to Walmart yet. Approval takes weeks to months and it's entirely out of my hands. Buying leads you can't list is a waste of your money. Apply first, then come back. Also not for you if you want Amazon leads. There are good lists for that and this isn't one.
Forty seats. That's the whole business.
A sourcing list sold to four hundred people isn't a sourcing list, it's a race. This one is capped at forty subscribers total and then it closes. Not forty per tier. Forty.
Questions
- How often does it run?
- Wednesday mornings. Not daily. When the subscriber count covers the scanning cost, the paid list moves to more frequent runs and existing seats keep their price.
- How many leads per week?
- Uncapped. Every product that clears every bar goes out. The last run was 47. It moves with what Target has on the shelf.
- Are the leads exclusive to me?
- No, and don't buy from anyone who says otherwise. The forty-seat cap is the actual protection.
- Why should I trust a list with no reviews?
- You shouldn't, yet. This is new and there are no customers to quote. That's what the free list is for. Take two real leads a week, at no cost, and check them against your own numbers before you spend anything.
- Do you guarantee I'll make money?
- No. Margin is calculated after Walmart's referral fee at the price Walmart showed when the lead was found. Prices move, buy boxes move, and what you clear depends on your own costs and timing. Verify every lead before you buy it.
- What about the receipt problem?
- Retail arbitrage means your proof of purchase is a store receipt, not a distributor invoice. If a brand files an authenticity complaint, a receipt may not satisfy it. That's true of every arbitrage lead list, mine included. The listing risk column flags the brands known for doing it.
